Andrew H. Moss is the Founder and Managing Partner of Fortage Capital Advisors, a firm dedicated to offering clients personalized, unbiased advice, along with the partnerships and resources that ensure the security and convenience of a family office.
With more than 30 years of experience in wealth management, Andrew has guided clients through a range of environmental and market shifts, including fluctuating interest rates, times of significant volatility, and periods of growth and stability. During this time, Andrew has created tailored financial solutions to meet the diverse needs and goals of individuals. Due to his expertise and extensive professional background, Andrew has been featured in numerous publications and media outlets.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from The Kelly School of Business at Indiana University, and holds his Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) certification from the Investments & Wealth Institute™.
Outside of work, Andrew serves as a Director of the Western Golf Association supporting the Evans Scholars Caddy Scholarship Fund. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Mara, and their children, Nathan and Samantha. The family enjoys visiting ski resorts during the summer. Andrew and his son are well on their way to seeing all NFL stadiums and enjoy traveling to watch the Detroit Lions play on the road.
Matthew is a Director at Fortage Capital Advisors, playing a key role in the wealth management team by overseeing analytics, research, and trading, while also serving as a Financial Advisor for numerous client households.
Matthew has worked alongside Andrew Moss since 2013 at both Transcend Capital Advisors and Merrill Lynch Private Client Group.
Matthew started his career in the financial services industry in 2007, following four years of service in the US. Air Force, which included deployments to both Iraq and Qatar. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and an MBA from Eastern Michigan University.
Away from the office, Matthew is the proud father of two children, Easton and Amelia. He loves backpacking, hiking, and ice hockey, as well as exploring Northern Michigan’s Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and Pictured Rocks parks.
Carrie Angott is a Senior Client Service Associate at Fortage Capital Advisors, where she plays a role in delivering the team’s white glove service approach, through attentive and responsive communication. An integral member of the team, Carrie brings more than 20 years of industry experience and is highly regarded for her expertise and cheerful demeanor.
Carrie has worked alongside Andrew Moss since 2014 at both Transcend Capital Advisors and Merrill Lynch Private Client Group.
Carrie is a dedicated family member and active community supporter. A proud parent, she enjoys volunteering at her daughter’s school whenever possible and has become the amateur photographer of her daughter’s school volleyball team, capturing special moments during the games.
Outside of family life, Carrie is a strong supporter of Children With Hair Loss, having grown and donated hair multiple times to the charity. She also lends support to the Lion’s Club. A proud supporter of West Point, Carrie is a big fan of the Army, despite not attending the academy personally—her father did.
